different about their culture!

1. Unlike the US, Nike is not nearly
as popular as other brands such as New Balance and Adidas
2. It
is not unusual to see Danes sunbathing topless (optional) in cemeteries....
it’s a social norm

Biking is INTENSE (they have mini street lights for bikes and you WILL get in
an accident if you don’t ride fast
and in the correct lane

Danish people don't eat bagels

People like wearing cropped pants and showing their ankle

Every building interior looks like it came directly from Ikea (though, it
probably did)

“library voices” are their everyday speaking voices... if you raise your voice
they'll all stare at you

Traveling and walking with a group of 4 or more people isn't common, everyone
walks in pairs or alone

People keep to themselves

Danish pastries are the best pastries
11. NOMA, the worlds best restaurant (4 years in a row) is in Copenhagen
--> There are only 11 seats, you must be on a waitlist to get a reservation,
and dinner costs about $300

Over 1/3 of the citizens of Copenhagen bike to work every day (during
rush hour you’ll see more bikes than cars)

The temperature seems to always be pretty mild and it rains quite often and
unpredictably.

Minimum wage is so high here that you can't and shouldn't expect anyone to pack
