Anyone who knows me well knows that my worst fear is bees. Today when traveling to see De Runde Haver (small round private gardens) I saw a swarm of bees. We aren't talking about 25 bees. This was a legitimate swarm of bees-- the kind that create an ACTUAL cliche movie-style bee swarming buzzing noises. 3,000 bees at least.... and the weirdest part was that there weren't any bee boxes for raising bees or flowers.
I asked my teacher why there would randomly be thousands of bees in the middle of an area and he said that a queen bee must have been present. Guess she has a lot of suitors?
By the time my class took a 10 minute walk and came by again, all 3,000 bees were no where to be seen.
